Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?
Dislike the concept, not dislike the people. My nana believes in God. She’s a good person. Yeah, I wish she agreed with me, and my mum and my brother. And she’s nearly eighty. Do I dislike her? No. Do I dislike…not the right word… the concept of people believing in something without proof? Of course I do, but I don’t dislike people. I dislike the human psychology. In The God Delusion, that’s basically what Dawkins is saying too, it’s not an attack on people, it’s a “look, this is what we do, maybe we should be aware of these idiosyncrasies, thought patterns et c. that can possibly, and are in some cases be very bloody dangerous at worst”…it’s typical for people to see this emotionally…people have called Dawkins “strident” et c. and he’s not, again, because human psychology, man.

I would get really upset. I don’t know how people put up with it. I get angry enough having a discussion with my passively theist grandma who otherwise doesn’t mention it, and it’s like almost nothing…

Or when people say science can’t be true because it “keeps updateing”.
That is the only thing I have a problem with my nana being an otherwise non-judgemental theist.
Yah huh.
Little heteronormative too, but she was born in the 30s, I’m not gonna change her now.
